From Belhassen on the polar opposite side of the African continent, in the great nation of Tunisia, I received two great postcards. The top one is of the Sufutela ruins in the historic city of Sbeitla. These ruins predate the Arabic invasion of Tunisia. At the bottom one can see a postcard of the clearly beautiful city of Tabarka. Now, this really does look like some resort city! Belhassen tells me that this city is known for having a “special architecture” and is also unique in that it is the only city in Tunisia where it snows. Having lived on the African continent all my life, I do know that anywhere that snow falls, has to be special!
