This great postcard comes from Junghuem who lives in South Korea. Seoul is obviously and quite infamously the capital of the great nation of South Korea. While writing this and reading about the city, I read a number of things that I certainly did not know. Seoul is the largest city proper in the developed world, not to mention South Korea, with a population of approximately 10 million people. It is also the second largest metropolitan area in the world with an estimated population of 25.6 million people. The city is home to more than half of the population of South Korea and is also home to a further 632 000 international residents. I only knew the very first bit and that it is a very technologically forward city. This city that is 2031 years old, at the moment, is surely a great example of what people can achieve in terms of efficiency and development if they really wanted to. What a great postcard and another great learning experience. Thanks Junghuem!
