Midnight Club II
From Kria in Germany, I received this postcard. I have seen this postcard before, I’m sure I have, in fact, I recall seeing it at a video game store called BT Games, in a mall close to where I live. It was free at that video game store. I wondered whether in Germany one would have to pay for one of these babies. As it turns out, on the back it says “City Cards Gratispostkarten”, which means (for those who cannot read German), “free postcards.” My mom, says that I’m not allowed to be mean about my postcards, as I have been scoweled on previous occasions for what I’ve written. So I just decided that I’m not going to be mean but merely state the facts and tailor them to make me feel much better. You see, I have no problem in the world with where somebody gets a postcard (at least I received one) but I would never send anybody a free postcard with a blatant advertisement on the front because I believe it to be in utterly bad taste, but then again, that’s just me. See? Not being mean, just being honest. So, with regards to this game of which I’ve heard but never played personally, it is the sequel to Midnight Club by Rockstar Games whose emblem can be seen on the bonnet of this red beauty. They are of course famous for the developers of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, which I’ve had the privilege of getting addicted to at some point of my life. Anywho. that’s about it.
